Introduction

Location: San Antonio, TX

Our client is one of the largest USDA co-manufacturing bakeries in the United States with approximately 400,000 square feet in manufacturing space.

They manufacture biscuits, fruit-filled pies, meat-filled pies, kolaches, and other baked goods for many top 200 QSR brands, top 15 food service distributors, and top 25 grocery chains.



Problem

This bakery has over 350 employees and production lines running 24 hours per day. To expand and meet fluctuating demand, the food production facility needs high quality, consistent manufacturing workers. They tested 4 previous agencies but were dissatisfied with missing and inexperienced workers and had difficulties reaching out to customer support to solve staffing issues. 


Solution

The company partnered with Traba to support their need for temporary day labor and temp-to-hire, consistent high quality manufacturing workers, and hands-on operational support. To hire experienced food production workers, every potential hire undergoes the Four Point Vetting Process.


This was conducted by both the Local and National Operations Team who are supported with the best verification technologies. Traba’s 24/7 Live Operations Team filled large shift requests quickly and were in constant communication to recover from any emergencies.


Results

Traba provided our client with 50 workers and 3 shifts a day, and the partnership will only continue to grow. In 2022, they grew their business and need for new workers which Traba comfortably filled at a 97% fill rate.
