Our client is one of the largest USDA co-manufacturing bakeries in the United States with approximately 400,000 square feet in manufacturing space.

They manufacture biscuits, fruit-filled pies, meat-filled pies, kolaches, and other baked goods for many top 200 QSR brands, top 15 food service distributors, and top 25 grocery chains.

Problem

This bakery has over 350 employees and production lines running 24 hours per day. To expand and meet fluctuating demand, the food production facility needs high quality, consistent manufacturing workers. They tested 4 previous agencies but were dissatisfied with missing and inexperienced workers and had difficulties reaching out to customer support to solve staffing issues. 

Solution

The company partnered with Traba to support their need for temporary day labor and temp-to-hire, consistent high quality manufacturing workers, and hands-on operational support. To hire experienced food production workers, every potential hire undergoes the Four Point Vetting Process.

Traba runs a full background check on every worker before they work a shift. Then, the Local Operations Team individually assesses each worker to certify GMP requirements and shift-length commitments. Traba then adds experience and feedback from previous Traba shifts to match our client with qualified workers.
